Some more fascinating research from our colleagues at JDC’s
macroeconomic research institute, the Taub Center .
The largest
employment declines have been among the Muslim, Druze and Haredi
(Ultra-Orthodox Jewish) men.
On the other hand, in all female populations, we’ve seen
significant increases in employment. Among non-Haredi Jewish women, employment
rates are now higher than the G7 average. Among all other women, the gaps are
closing fast, since their employment rates are rising more quickly than the G7
rates.
